Family Story

The George’s family wishes to welcome you to “A little piece of Greece in Southern California!” George’s had its humble beginnings in the heart of Downtown Long Beach in 1999. We continue to honor the family tradition at the sole family owned location in the Long Beach area here in the beachside community of Belmont Shore; situated amidst small restaurants and boutique shopping on 2nd St.  While we are only able to accommodate more intimate gatherings, we offer a full range of catering services to bring Greece to you. George’s has remained a favorite among locals for years due to our promise to provide fresh, delicious meals in a fun relaxed atmosphere while providing top of the line service.

We continue to follow Mama Rodou’s age old family recipes that have been passed down for generations.  We use only the finest ingredients including first, cold pressed, extra virgin olive oil from Greece and premium, grass-fed, hormone free lamb directly from New Zealand.  We want to extend a heartfelt invitation for you to join us for a wonderful experience.  Whether you’re looking for a fun family get together or an intimate date night, we are here for you.
